ELISE COENEN
Elise's main inspiration for creating sculptures is to reflect the inner entity where the spiritual freedom and inner balance are in focus. Human characteristics unite in organic forms. Wings symbolize her personal experience of freedom and embody inner spiritual strength.
Elise is a practicing artist since 1998. While making her art she reflects the expression of her perception and feelings, which manifest within her environment and that she is experiencing herself as well. This determines the atmosphere of her art. She mainly sculpts out of fire clay, which will then be cast in bronze. Fire clay is her ideal material. It permits Elise to be free to express her inner freedom during every creative process.
