Steffie de Leeuw is a Dutch artist, designer who lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After graduating from the University of Amsterdam and the ‘Willem de Kooning’Art Academy, Steffie started creating Art.
She inherited her love for nature and wild life from her parents. Her surname is de Leeuw (the Lion) and you see these animal and other felines frequently in her work and designs. She combines inspiration from her own travels with her imagination and fictional influences to create a unique world of imagination. The last decades have been an artistic journey through the different expressions of art that now come together in her work.

I love the Artist Bob Ross and his art video’s. For this artwork I got inspired by his dreamy landscapes. The tiger was a happy little accident.
